      Jobs by City: Also keeping pace with the growth of Georgia?s population is Augusta. Augusta is the second largest city in the state, and Augusta jobs continue to increase yearly. Cities in Georgia receive a steady flow of tourists year round. Many history and Civil War buffs flock to Augusta and other cities in Georgia to see the historical battlegrounds.
