So, why do you think 22 Military Veterans commit suicide every day? From WAR zone to POVERTY. Instead of priority hiring Vets get jobs, just turn them away. Another consideration for minimum wage jobs, is that often times it for sure not going to pay the rent, electricity, buy food, have a car much less gasoline. Let me steer you in the right direction. There is nothing wrong with asking for help, if there is no help, our Country is losing highly skilled jobs to China, Russia, wherever is a low cost manufacturing as a result of NAFTA and GATT Treaties that former President Clinton signed some 20 years ago, allowing Corporations with no penalty to export jobs. If that doesn't bite your butt, then maybe H1B Visa holding Foreigners will come here and stay way beyond their 2 years, taking jobs, and virtually the Giant Corporations keep their money offshore, and our Federal Government hikes taxes and does NOT increase minimum wages. That's right Shrek, every day, by phone, by mail and by internet a Politician asking for just $3 more dollars for this and for that. I always respond with a check for $17 Trillion Dollars, with the intent to give more money to the US Treasury, to the Stock Market, the large Banks, Large Corporations, and any other Country than our own, say like North Korea who we sent 250,000 metric tons of food just before they threatened the US Continent with thermo nuclear bombs.
Thank you VP Biden for spending $500,000 for a motel room in Paris for one night. Where can I get in on some of that action. Okay, so let's talk about the homeless and hungry Kids who live in Washington DC, shall we? So here again we are in deep debt. I have two Daughters who neither can find work to sustain themselves. They both went to College for GOD knows why, struggling to pay back their Tuition. Let me conclude with the Baby Boomers, who are quickly retiring, there are going to be thousands and thousands of jobs available in the Crafts, like plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc., who need apprentiship skilled workers for the future. There are 8 billion people on the Earth, of which 5% are US Citizens. 5% of the US are the very rich and famous. So, I recommend just taking a few Community College Courses in economics, intros to business that will give you the edge over your imported workers. 330 million of us need to get cracking on all of this wealth. In the meantime, what shall the 47% that Romney was talking about is to stop the greed and let the millionaires go to China and see how they live, on the condition that their VISA is revoked.

Great. 33,000 minimum wage, less than living wage jobs. A real boost to the economy. Gives everybody all the incentive they need. (To live off the dole with ObamaCare in your pocket)

I wonder if all these jobs are part time jobs with no benefits. I know there is a trend to not hire full time people because you would have to give them benefits. I bet in a lot of cases the people that are already working there are working part time. Getting just enough hours to keep them under the full time amount. It would be nice for the people already working there to get full time status, with benefits instead of hiring more people, but is always about the almighty buck.

Worked for Macy's PT for 3 years. When even the white employees start talking about how working for Macy's is like working on a plantation, you know it's time to leave.

You know Macy's doesn't take of the employee's they have working for them now - so what they hire new people, cut the hours of the employees already working for them, making it hard on them to take care of themselves and their families. They sure aren't that great store you saw in the movie Miracle on 34th Street and haven't been in a long, long time .

I can't help but laugh at the name Vector Marketing...there is a food place at Magic Mountain in California that sells Vector Value meals at the Pizza Vector near the Batman Ride.

Worked for a company for 20 years then they went out of business. I use to think it was good to get your time up in a job, no more, after so long they boot you for too much pay, or they close down, or they want younger people. So what do we do? I wish the President would listen to these stories and hear what we really go through.
