A job search can get quite frustrating these days, with so many people competing for too few openings. To ease the burden, AOL Jobs tracked down the 10 top companies that are hiring this week. From sales jobs to finance positions, full-time to part-time, these employers have a plethora of openings they're looking to fill.

1. NAPA: 7,051 part-time openings.
The automotive parts retailer has over 6,000 stores and 14,000 affiliated repair centers across the United States. Based in Atlanta, Ga., it has an inventory of over 400,000 parts and equipment used for the car repair, collision, heavy-duty truck and industrial markets. The company is a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company.

2. Firestone Complete Auto Care: 3,772 openings.
Firestone Complete Auto Care is a car maintenance chain that was spun off from one of the oldest American tire companies. There are more than 1,600 locations nationwide, many of which are open late and on weekends and -- along with selling and servicing its name-brand tires -- where its mechanics do repairs and other kinds of work on cars.

3. AT&T: 3,384 openings.
Wireless giant AT&T continues to hire in large volumes, as many customers upgrade their smartphones and purchase tablets that require LTE data plans. It recently announced that it will be adding more wireless subscribers than expected.

4. Verizon Wireless: 3,000 openings
Verizon Wireless operates the largest mobile network in the United States. The Basking Ridge, New Jersey-based company is a subsidiary of Verizon Communications and Vodafone, although Verizon announced in September that it agreed to buy Vodafone's 45 percent stake in the company for $130 billion. Expected to close in the first quarter of 2014, it is the third largest announced deal in the world, Reuters reported.

5. Valvoline Instant Oil Change: 882 openings.
Formerly EZ Lube, the vehicle maintainence company offers oil changes, antifreeze changes, differential fluid changes, batteries, belts, fuel system cleaning service, lights, wipers and transmission fluid changes. Valvoline is owned and operated by Covington, Ky.-based Ashland, Inc., a manufacturing and chemical distribution company.

6. Trugreen: 2,433 openings.
The nation's largest lawn care company, Trugreen has over 245 branches across the country that offer both residential and commercial services. The landscaper is a subsidiary of ServiceMaster, which also operates Terminix.

7. Bankers Life and Casualty Company: 2,111 openings
Founded in 1879, Bankers is a life and health insurance company that services the retirement market. It is based in Chicago, Ill., and operates in 275 offices nationwide. The financial company is a subsidiary of CNO Financial Group.

8. PNC: 1,288 openings.
Based in Pittsburgh, the regional bank operates over 2,700 branches in nineteen states and the District of Columbia. The company doubled in size in 2008 when it acquired National City, making it the fifth largest bank in the country.

9. UnitedHealth Group: 1,288 openings.
UnitedHealth Group currently provides health insurance services to more than 75 million people worldwide and is the largest insurance company of its kind in the U.S. With the onset of states' participation in the Affordable Care Act, the Minnesota-based insurer "has remained especially vague on the number of systems in would participate in," says The Motley Fool, "placing the number somewhere between 10 and 25."

10. Chipotle: 1,481 openings.
Chipotle is known for its use of organic meats throughout its more than 1,500 restaurants, which are located in 45 states. Since having been founded in 1993, the chain has since exploded and now counts some 37,000 employees. It is a pioneer in the "fast casual" dining movement. And its early success led to the McDonald's corporation buying Chipotle in 1998.
