According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics the unemployment rate is currently 9.4%.

According to the people that voted, the reality appears much worse.

  • A staggering 89% have been laid off this year or know someone that has.

  • A whopping 76% have had layoffs at their company this year.

  • 45% are still extremely worried about getting laid off in 2009.
