Please be careful when stating some hourly jobs it may be misleading. Yes it is true many pilots do make $60 an hour but that is for only door closed to door open not every hour they are at work. The average hours paid each MONTH is 75. Pilots do not get paid for layovers or delays on the ground and may work a 14 hour day only getting paid for 8 the legal maximum in a day to be scheduled.
Whoever researched the nurse anesthetist hourly pay is certaintly not in the healthcare profession. I made $66.00/hr as an on-call RN @ Kaiser Permanente just last year! Nurses make a lot of money in California, especially Northern California with Kaiser paying the highest salary in the US. $60.00/hr is really pretty standard for an RN with 5+ years. New nurses make at least $60,000.00 there first year out and that's with only a 2 year degree.
I fail to understant that 3+ years after Kathrena people on the Gulf coast are still in motels and other temp. housing paid for by our goverment with the taxes of working people. Cant find a job BULL. Cant find a place to live BULL. If you want to work there is work available it may not be what you want or pay very much but my experience is an employer prefers to offer employment to somebody who shows he or she wants to work. My advice is get a job any job then apply for a better job
