If you're looking for extra income or using part-time work to get by during a crunch, don't think that you have to give up benefits. Several companies offer benefits to part-time employees in attempts to attract and retain harder-working, more-qualified workers.
In many cases, part-time workers still may need to work a minimum number of hours per week and put in a certain number of hours of work in order to qualify for any type of benefits package; however, once they do, the benefits they receive are often well worth the effort.

When you work for someone else you have to follow their rules and regulations exactly and hope that they stay in business. A few years ago I decided that kind of life wasn't for me. A home business had a lot of appeal to me but I had no idea which one to choose. I know a lot of them are scams or schemes to mostly enrich others. I finally found something that was the real deal http://cli.gs/HomeBizSuccessSystem I couldn't be happier. I'm making a very nice income, I get to enjoy my family more often. and nobody is ever going to tell me what I can wear or do again. :)
A stock market does not make a GDP. And that is where the rub is. When US corporations are in China and they are doing well because of low wages, then they have no allegiance to the US. In effect they become communists sympathizers because the Chinese government tells them they can stay if they do not say anything bad about there treatment of the people of China or how they cheat at all the rules laid down by the World Trade Organization. Just ask Google, Microsoft, Cisco, and IBM. They all play along and are as bad as the Nazi sympathizers before WWII, IBM, Ford and others......The list of your Communist sympathizers in the government and corporate America runs long because they all profit it from it. When the greatest export you have is your manufacturing sector, you become a nation of third worlders and about the only thing you’re going to build is a Big Mac and sit at home and sell Chinese crap.
The rules have changed. If you're looking for a great job, with a great company, with great benefits, that you will have your entire life, until you retire, stop looking. That was then this is now. That job doesn't exist anymore for 99% of us. Unless you have unique and remarkable skills you better figure out what will work best for you and your family. I am a former executive who left the corporate world to help people adjust to the new realities. My suggestion to most is to do what millions of people are doing now, find a good home business. That won't work for everyone but if you find one that you can get into for virtually no investment and learn the right skills, you should do well. There are two opportunities that my clients have had the most success with. One is an amazing opportunity to profit from Ebay and there are well over 720,000 people making a full time living with them. http://cli.gs/HomeBizSuccessSystem That's a huge company to work with. The other great opportunity is working with an amazing program from Robert Allen http://bit.ly/RobertAllenIncomeStreams , a true genius, who shows you how to create multiple streams of income from home. The results have been spectacular So many of my clients tell me that they are loving working for themselves, making more money than before, in less time, and enjoy the extra time they have to spend with their families. Avoid all MLM, they are mostly scams.
One of the best all around companies to work for in my opinion is Comcast. Part timers get benefits and even stock options and such, as well as a decent pay scale. I am a near 3 year employee now and have found that Comcast is one of the most ethical and honest companies out there. I worked for a "competitor" for a short time before going to Comcast. I did promotional work for one of their new products, and was flat out told to lie to potential customers in order to get the sales. When I refused, I was told I could lose my job. I quit instead. I have been with Comcast for almost 3 years and can honestly say that they are an excellent company to work for. Again, the pay is good, benefits are there for all, and there are constant incentives for performance, and not just sales. Comcast rewards customer service agents as well, for their ability to provide customer satisfaction, which is number one with Comcast. It's easy to see that working there is truly something to be proud of.

You should Google Ambit before you apply. Check out what others have to say about it, some people claim that it's a scam. Be wary with any company who posts messages that make big claims about earning pots of money. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I am looking to supplement my income with something that I can do from home. Does this position require traveling to onsite locations or can contacts be made via internet or phone? Also, does it require a certain time frame when customers are contacted or can this job be done at anytime?
