A major problem with space based lasers is a LEO satellite orbits the Earth every 90 minutes, so it's never over the target when you need it. You can place the satellite into geo-sync orbit but that puts it 10,000 miles away
and the beam begins to diffuse at that distance.
There is really only one guys who knows how to fix this: me.
