He may consider himself a non hero, but without a doubt, even if he doesn't think so, I'm sure that a lot of people now think of him not only as a hero, but as an excellent example of being a GOOD CITIZEN and a very CARING HUMAN BEING; something that this country needs many more of.Jim
II AM GLAD TO SEE THAT THERE ARE DECENT PEOPLE OUT THERE YET, WHO WOULD BE WILLING TO GO THE DISTANCE, RISK THEIR OWN LIVES, IF SOMEONE WAS IN EXTREME DANGER, TO HELP THEM. NOT EVERYONE COULD HAVE DONE, WHAT THIS GENTLEMAN HAS DONE. ITS NICE TO KNOW, THAT SOMEPEOPLE CAN WORK AND THINK UNDER SEVERE EXTREME PRESSURE, AND KEEP THEIR COOL. NOT DOING IT JUST SO HE CAN BECOME FAMOUS, BUT TO DO IT, BECAUSE HE IS A HUMAN BEING. THANK GOD SOMEONE WAS THERE TO HELP THIS LADY/ SHE WILL PROBABLY BE ENDEBTED TO HIM FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE, NOW KNOWING, THAT BECAUSE OF HIM,SHE WILL HAVE ONE. GOD BLESS THIS PERSON WHOM SAVED HER LIFE. WISH YOU ALL THE BEST, FOR YOUR COMING YEARS.
off-duty soldiers goes on shooting spree / off-duty cop beats wife / off-duty fireman cuts his lawn---what does it matter how much they scam off gov't while on duty?/ somebody has to pay taxes to pay for these guys to be ON -duty
wtf does his "off-duty" job have to do with anything???
He was on his way to work - it is just how they phrased the title of the story. And two thumbs up to TSA for the safety training they provide for their employees. What this man did for a complete stranger was very brave and courageous and I am glad both are ok Also, the train operator did a great job in stopping the train in time- I would imagine that isn't an easy feat.
