People Who Feel The Least Secure In Their Job

People over 60 and those making under $50K are the most worried

Recently we published a bunch of charts from a new New York Fed survey of consumer expectations broken down by a bunch of different demographic groups.

This chart, in particular, was interesting, as it shows the level of anxiety about job loss among different demographics.

As you can see, there's significant anxiety among those over 60 and those who make less than 50K. Those who make over $100k and are less than 40 years old are among the most confident.

Well, yeah, I'm over 60, made less than $50k per year, and am sitting at home out of work and out of Federal unemployment insurance, so I guess this graphic works. sucks to get old, but my Mom always said "there's only one way not to get old..."
