People Who Feel The Least Secure In Their Job

People over 60 and those making under $50K are the most worried

By Joe Weisenthal

Recently we published a bunch of charts from a new New York Fed survey of consumer expectations broken down by a bunch of different demographic groups.

This chart, in particular, was interesting, as it shows the level of anxiety about job loss among different demographics.

Business Insider/Matthew Boesler (data from New York Fed)

As you can see, there's significant anxiety among those over 60 and those who make less than 50K. Those who make over $100k and are less than 40 years old are among the most confident.

Check out all the charts here.

Well, yeah, I'm over 60, made less than $50k per year, and am sitting at home out of work and out of Federal unemployment insurance, so I guess this graphic works. sucks to get old, but my Mom always said "there's only one way not to get old..."
