Don't care who gets the credit or who gets the blame, I'm happy to see my friends back to work. New house needs carpets, tile, roofing, paint, truly a trickle down effect. Hope it continues to grow.
Good. The industrious Mexicans will fill ALL of these jobs. The other dependent groups will then have more folks funding their free goodies.
Both pumpkintail and johnnylalakers1 need to learn not to use all caps. This is the equivalent of shouting and they should be ashamed of themselves for having done that.
God is smarter than you are.
Technology will cause many of you to lose employment. People still have to eat etc so the smart thinkers better figure out something to fix that problem.
As technology and cheap labor wipe out all your jobs the world will move closer to WWIII
As the next generation moves up to follow the baby boomers they will get terminated also!
Storm damage reconstruction is about the only construction you can count on. The housing market will be suffering until good jobs make up most of the jobs the unemployed lost.
After 35 years as a carpenter I was hit in 2011 with a layoff but I was one of the lucky ones as I was close to my 55 b-day and could settle into retirement. I feel for the young ones that have nowhere to go other than some non paying job in a grocery or something. And although a lot of people complain about the union jobs I was glad to have one with benefits and pension that I could count on. Glad to hear these jobs are coming back.
i was hoping for soda jerk!!! those were the days!!!
