White House Pushes To Increase Veterans' Employment [VIDEO]
It's been a year since the Obama Administration launched a major veteran hiring initiative calling on private industry to partner in an effort to secure employment for military families.
The effort -- which has involved the Department of Veterans Affairs and the expanding role of IT in federal agencies -- has since resulted in job opportunities for more than 125,000 veterans and their spouses.
More than 2,000 businesses participating in the initiative have hired or trained those veterans and their spouses and have pledged to do the same for 250,000 more in the coming years.
