The stories touched my heart....I want to hear more...Thanks, Patsy
If I can grow plants in just water then this can be done. I don't believe the veggies will be bland once you add some salad dressing .
great video, makes you think of taking empty warehouses and forming multi story levels of food tables and grow lights supported by solar/wind/recycled fuel energy and bulk batteries.
And the pundits said these were dying. I think the best for them is yet to come.
And the kids flock to eat their vegetables, if your used to the bland , tastless vegy's this is great for you....
Great idea? This is already being done at a scale you can not imagine in California with Medical Marijuana growers. What this article truly fails to tell you is the enormous cost of installing, maintaining, electricity, lighting, air conditioning, and expensive nutrients. This man has a whole lot of money if he can afford to go scouting for locations to set up, hardly the hard case story this article tries to tell.
Interesting but "unnatural" process. Like produce grown in a lab.NO WAY
What a great idea! Having the kids involved is a great learning experience for them. Keep up the good work!
It's a good idea if all you like in your "salad" are leafy vegetables. Over and over and over. Now, grow me some cukes, tomatoes, carrots, peas or zucchini, etc. - and ya gotcher self a deal. And ah, just what is in that "nutrient" mix I would want my children eating everyday? Where are the test data for end product consumption? Don't they have to list nutrient content, vitamins, carbs, fat, etc.?
Positively brilliant in so many ways with so many ways to benefit people. Sending good thoughts and best wishes.
