glasses for work interviewsMany studies reveal that when we 'dress for success', our confidence boosts. This is most important when seeking a new job. A new wardrobe can cost a small fortune. So why not update your look with a new pair of eyeglasses? Most Americans overpay for their eyeglasses, even with vision benefit plans. The great news is that consumers can now purchase fashionable prescription eyewear online without compromising quality and at substantially lower prices!

One company I'm excited to share with you is GlassesUSA.com. They provide top quality glasses with prompt processing times, at affordable prices! By cutting out the middleman, glasses are produced and shipped in the shortest time span possible – all across the globe! What impressed me most about GlassesUSA.com is that they don't believe in outsourcing any aspect of their business. They work with top laboratories, an expert professional staff, and offer a large variety of frames including designer brands that are stored in-house. Their policy is to be in touch with the customer through every step of the way, making certain that prescriptions are correct – from pre-ordering to long after receiving your glasses. They also offer sunglasses.

GlassesUSA.com was ranked by Internet Retailer Magazine among the largest e-commerce sites for 2011 – ahead of all other online retailers in the eyeglass industry. They are in the company of huge successes such as Amazon, E-Bay and Zappos! Stella Service, an independent, unbiased organization awarded GlassesUSA.com a rating of "excellent."

CEO of GlassesUSA.com, Daniel Rothman, says "We have seen an increase in customers who purchase glasses to help them look and feel the way they want for professional purposes, such as job interviews. In an industry where people buy glasses once every 18 months, the value we bring to the customer has afforded them the opportunity to not settle for just one pair. Many customers feel better about themselves when they can affordably change their look. Being able to have that kind of impact on people is gratifying. Thousands of customers not only return to us for re-orders, they refer their friends and family as well."

After interviewing Daniel at GlassesUSA.com, he generously offered AOL Jobs readers an exclusive a 50% discount on your entire order as well as free shipping. Simply enter the promotion code "LOUISA25FS" when you visit GlassesUSA.com.

i actually took a much closer look at the website - it all looks great. the frames are very fun and fashionable and all ACTUALLY affordable. when i go to the doctors, the majority of the time i try to shut out how much a new prescription will cost me, let alone a new pair of decent frames! this site really seems to have it all - its hard to just choose one pair to order!

I've bought glasses online - the best thing to do is follow the guide set by the company! You'll find that you get the same glasses you'd get at your drs office but at a cheaper price. It's not actually as scary as it seems, just follow the instructions set by the company and make sure your rx is up-to-date with your pupil distance - that was my mistake the first time I bought.

I got lasik a few years back so I don't need to wear glasses anymore (I was blind and couldn't see the hand in front of my face) However, now I miss the fashion part of glasses and have thought about buying a pair to have the look of them sometimes. I haven't done it because they can be so expensive but checking out their site and prices I may have to splurge on a pair for my birthday!

I got LASIK too a few years back but its effectiveness is waning. The thought of having to go back and buy glasses these days is not pleasant. This looks pretty cool though - gives a little hope that I won't have to break the bank.

This is very interesting. What exactly do you mean they cut out the middle man? They produce the lenses themselves? -- Seems like a good idea (as long as they can read my prescription correctly); I'll have to check it out.

What a great post! There have been studies conducted about the importance of eyeglasses on your appearance and many people still believe that if you wear glasses, you MUST be smart! It's important to note that the number of people wearing glasses for "fashion" purposes has risen tremendously over the last few years. After looking at the site, I can see that GlassesUSA gives them a home to buy quality frames and clear lenses for an affordable price! I just found a pair of sunglasses on their site that is PERFECT for my Florida getaway in February!

What a great read! Thanks, Louisa!!
