Boss Shows Off Gun To Convenience Store Employee, Accidentally Shoots Her

LANTANA, Fla. -- Authorities say a woman was accidentally shot by her boss at a South Florida convenience store.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office reports that the boss was apparently showing the woman the gun Saturday afternoon when it went off. The bullet ricocheted and hit the woman.

The Palm Beach Post reports that the boss drove the woman to a nearby medical center. Officials say her injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.

The woman and boss weren't immediately identified.

Shame that it wasn't at the place that (ILLEGALLY) let me go 18 months ago. Funny thing is: EVERYBODY (management or not) knew who needed to get shot.

No "jokes" should be tolerated about ANY shooting - accidental or intentional ! I don't wish this on you in any way, shape, or form but you'll change your "humor" if / when YOU or a FRIEND, or a LOVED ONE is ever victimized by someone with a loaded weapon. I had an ex-girlfirend who was shot and killed by the 16 yr. old kid next door to her. Trust me - it changed my perception on "gun control" - forever ! Bottom line, Jim - no "jokes" !

funny how when this happens between friends or kids or someone they dont like almost always they immediately scream foul play but when its a employer or a politician *cough* cheney they immediately write it off as an accident and dont even investigate into it

Convenience store owner...gotta be a foreign national. If it had been an AK-47 he would have known how to use that. Can we all agree to stop allowing foreign nationals to posess guns here in the US?

I bet he is a life time neighbor of yours! Anyone who belongs to the NRA knows better than ACCIDENTLY shooting someone, now the employee is the owner and the owner is the emplyee.
