Adorable Photos of Dogs at Work in Honor of 'Take Your Dog to Work Day'

Today is the twelfth-annual Take Your Dog to Work Day. The event, first created by Pet Sitters International in 1999, "asks pet lovers to celebrate the humane-canine bond and promote pet adoption" by bringing their four-legged friends to work.

We scoured the web and found countless photos of people at work with their dogs alongside. Take a look at our favorites below, and let us know if your employer supports this special day of promotion and support.

Herbie the Office Dog

Herbie's owner John says, "I have Herbie in the office with me most of the day and occasionally I turn around to find him sitting (looking very pleased with himself) at Nikki's desk behind me.

I turned around just now to find him in this stance and thought I'd quickly turn the camera on him!"
