I Interviewed at Best Buy

"What a job," I thought to myself. "They're getting paid to flirt and play around on a computer. I spent most of my working hours alone in a car smelling other people's food."

POLITICALLY CORRECT BEST BUY plays it safe to avoid possible future litigation with an apprehended thief and encourages their employees to aid & abet all thefts from their stores! Their policy can be whatever self-serving, lawyer inspired, clap-trap they wish but when a dedicated employee attempts to do the right thing in stopping a theft, protecting his employers property and performing above & beyond what most employers would expect, he should NOT be fired for this effort. How fortunate, in this day & age to have selfless, dedicated workers in their employ! If this dismissal stands, I will NEVER patronize Best Buy again. With a policy such as "let the thief go" it is no wonder their prices are high & going higher! Best Buy is a commercial disgrace!

The worst company to work for. I was employed during the holiday season and was told that I would probably be kept on after the holiday. Then they fired all the male cashiers and told me that there were no positions open for me. It figures yet a few days later I am in the store and they are training 2 new cashiers both female.
