Apple is hiring salespeople to staff its iAd offices in New York, Chicago and San Francisco. The iAd is Apple's mobile advertising platform for its iPhones and iPods.
Apple's focus for iAd is on account managers, sales managers and strategic planners. All positions require ad sales experience, reports Sales-Jobs.Fins.com. This hiring push is so big that Apple has set up new quarters for its New York sales force in Union Square in Manhattan.
Apple watchers say the company is attempting to make its mark in the advertising space. Already Google has been there. And Apple is "reportedly interested in hiring people from Google's AdMob," notes Sales-Jobs.Fins.com.
