Want a Job in Singapore? Job Fairs in Boston and New York Now Scheduled

The secret of "The Lion City" is slowly but surely becoming the cat that's out of the bag. As one of the fastest-growing, most cosmopolitan, safest, and best places to live and work, Singapore is a safe haven for Americans. Not only is it very easy to immigrate there (especially on a two-year work pass, which can be extended hassle-free), but jobs are in abundance thanks to a government that's forward-thinking and open-armed.

Of course, standards are high (Singapore is definitely not a "hardship outpost") -- but if you think you've got what it takes and you're looking for a big change, you should attend one of the upcoming job fairs put on by Contact Singapore (a government agency whose primary function is to draw global talent to work, invest, and live in Singapore).

For their upcoming meet-'n-greet events in Boston and New York, the focus is on the financial sector. Contact Singapore is partnered up with Deutsche Bank, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and Standard Chartered Bank.

I went onto the website and found the featured companies that are hiring, as well as actual positions listed. There are jobs for corporate tax advisers, transactions managers, accountants, industry developers, and many more. This looks to be a great way to check out the island country without having to get your feet wet.
