Man Gets Drunk and Shoots Company Server -- 'Office Space' Style

It's as if the movie 'Office Space' has come to life with the story of a drunk mortgage company employee in Salt Lake City, Utah, opening fire on a company server. Joshua Lee Campbell, a 23-year-old Salt Lake City resident, apparently showed up at his office inebriated after attending a concert and shot his .45-caliber pistol at the company's $100,000 computer server and then passed out next to his gun.

Campbell alleged that he had been drugged by someone else who had stolen his gun and shot the server. However, acquaintances of Campbell's earlier in the evening stated that he had previously discussed shooting up the server.

If I lived in Salt Lake, I would probably want to shoot something too. Somebody please get me another drink before I shoot someone (could have been his first?). I guess as long as he's not shooting at restaurant servers though, he's probably okay. Perhaps he could find a bit better way of blowing off a little steam. Guys just need to have some fun now and then. Sounds like he really blew a big hole in his pocket book too. BTW: If the CRT in the picture is really worth $100k, I'm gonna be retiring just as soon as I can get these bozos in Utah to buy all mine. I got shelves in the garage chocked full I'll be happy to give you half price. Otherwise, I may need to use a UZI to tune them all up a bit and make my own headlines.

Call it corporate cubicle stress syndrome..but shooting a gun at a computer..sounds like fun as long as nobody got hurt of course.
computers have taken up soo much of our time..just like television...theres no time for family anymore..throw in these families working for another corporate BS company..and well..life is pretty stressfull for families here in America..especially for Californians.... Then throw in the downsizing of these corporate employees..and foreclosures..and everyone scrambling to get an $8 dollar an hour telemarketing job= Hell..time to move out of California..Vegas here i come!!!
