Don't be fooled by Nugget Markets. If you are disabled or have a past hidden work related injury they will fire you. Go shop at any of the stores and see if you can find anybody that works there that has a disability. They discriminate against people with disabilities for their workforce. If you don't think this is true, go see for yourself and you decide if you support companies that discriminate........

Macy's MCCS is the worst company I have ever worked for. They have excellent perks such as discounts, 401k, and pension. Unfortunately the only training you will ever receive in this company is the initial new hire training. For the remainder of your career with Macy's you are expected to figure out new processes by your self utilizing out dated software and hardware that is barely functional. At this point in time, Macy's is in the process of terminating as many full time staff as possible in order to hire an abundance of part time seasonal associates. The latest report from CNN is that Macy's is hiring 78,000 part time seasonal associates. I wonder how many full time Macy's veterans have forfeited their jobs in order to make those numbers attainable?

The Home Depot is one of the worse places I have ever worked. The Store and the Distribution. They hire you for the probationary period of 11.00 and hour for 90 days. After 90 days they let 75% of the new people go.
Food Lion / Bi Lo are both good places to work. The Produce dept/ deli especially. The deli can start at 10.50 an hour and the same with Bi Lo if you have some experience.
