FORTUNE'S Best Companies to Work for 2010

Aldi? That is the worst store in the universe - limited merchandise selection, rude abusive cashiers and so so prices. They claim they are so inexpensive - well it is a good thing other wise no one would ever shop there. The only thing they have is cheapness and it is usually a matter of yo get what you pay for.

If you make a few cents over minimum they start cutting your hours. And benefits? You have to be kidding - what benefits?

I live in Rochester and the Wegmans stores for the most part are awesome, since they closed the "pimple" on thier backside on Driving Park Ave. The clerks and cashiers were arrogant, nasty and mean. Never said "welcome" or asked you anything to let you know they appreciated the chance to serve you (aka. having a job)and rarely bid you a nice day when you left. However, produce managers, meat counter, deli department, Pharmacy employees and nearly everyone else were wonderful. It was just the rotten cashiers and thier crappy attitude, along with the typical "welfare" customer stealing, eating prepared foods while shopping, and every other imagineable atrocity one could think of while shopping that made THIS store the worst shopping experience around. Since they closed it, (and before actually) most every other Wegamns I have ever been in are wonderful places with great employees that are courteous and helpful people.

i live in syracuse, n.y. and we have 5 or 6 wegmans in the area.they are the best by far, the other stores like price chopper, tops, save -a-lot, aldi, p&c they all are nothing compared to wegmans. actually p&c are out of business as of next week. so yea wegmans is the best. thank you !!!

I appy for this place a few time they never once call me went they first open up they gave me a interview but they didn't give a job. I had work for Shoprite for 20 years So I know what to do. Walmart stinks too.

Try working at Food Lion - I can say that there is no place like it on earth. You should come and see for yourself! After a few weeks there you will understand that seeing is believing.

How did you succeed in this business tr,homebizsystem and make that kind of profit, what is tha secret, because i have tried and made no money what so ever

it is made to look heavenly the customers and behind closed doors its a shit hole if your not high up in the company

what paul said is very true i know from experience and as far as wegmans laying off, haha what a joke wegmans laid me off and i got the shitty severence package to go with it so with that being said it still is the best grocery store in the world though and they get my $$ any day
