What ever happened to on the job training? They want people that have years of education but if these companies would teach the employee what they really need to know, in time they will be able to forfil the spot. Yes it may take time and money but they aren't making any or have anyone working. Not all jobs requrie mega education. A lot can be learned on the job and if they use time sharing like they do in Europe those lessons can be passed on while at work.
