I'm 63 years old and was always considered by any company I worked for as a valuable asset. Due to a downturn in the industry I was involved in I was forced at age 59 to change careers. I took a low level job in a different industry and watched while clueless young higher level managers hired clueless lower level managers. I was much more qualified and adept for any of the jobs that I was passed over for.It was pretty obvious because of my age I was never even considered for any promotions even though I was often called upon for advice by the very people that were hired over me. In any case the young management group drove the company nearly out of business which was inevitable because they were inept. Bottom line is that as long as these companies hire people for management who can't spell, think they know everything, call everybody"dude"and think texting each other every 15 minutes with inane messages is doing business, things won't change. The dumbing down of the schools has reached corporate America, God help us all
